Don’t Leave The Dog at Home! Bring Him To These Dog-Friendly Jersey City Restaurants

12Aug

Fido is man’s best friend. But what fun is it if you have to leave your furry friend at home at your Beacon apartment when you out to eat? Here in Jersey City, though, we have lots of eateries that won’t just allow your dog – they’ll welcome him!

If you’re looking for a place where you can enjoy a great meal but also let you dog enjoy the outdoors, then stop by some of these local eateries where he can grab a water bowl and some sunshine. Try not to fall victim to his begging at the table!

Barcade, located at 163 Newark Ave, Jersey City which is six minutes from your Beacon apartment, is a festive venue pairing classic video games with craft ales, plus familiar pub grub in an airy locale.

There are Barcade locations in New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia and Connecticut, owned by four friends; Paul Kermizian, Pete Langway, and brothers Kevin and Scott Beard. Feel free to bring your dog to any of these locations and enjoy a cold beer outside!

O’Hara’s Downtown Sports Bar & Grill, located at 172 1st St, Jersey City which is 10 minutes from your Beacon apartment, is a large pub offering a menu of beers, burgers, ribs and more, plus trivia, DJs and sports on TV.

Located in the heart of downtown Jersey City, there’s always something happening at O’Hara’s and it makes for a great place to catch up with friends, unwind with a beer after work or just enjoy the game – all while hanging out with your dog at the outside dining area!
