Haunted Happenings Around Jersey City

Whether you consider yourself a seasoned paranormal investigator, or the biggest chicken there is, everyone likes to have a little frightening fun this time of year! Terminal of Terror – After it’s inaugural opening last year, this year Chicpea JC and Terminal of Terror is going bigger and better. There’ll be more attractions, bars, and facilities for Jersey City residents to enjoy. They’re also adding an extra night for all you Halloween lovers! On Friday, October 27th, they’ll have the 21+ Terminal of Terror event from 9 PM to 2 AM. There’ll be food trucks, a costume contest, drinks and more. For the little ones, they’ll have their family-friendly Spooky Terminal event in collaboration with JC Families. Historic Jersey City & Harsimus Cemetery – Located just a mile away from your Beacon apartment, The Historic Jersey City & Harsimus Cemetery is not only a national treasure, but a pretty spooky local attraction! Prior to the creation of the Cemetery in 1829, it’s historical significance dates back to the 1700’s as the site of Revolutionary War skirmishes, and an active Ammunition Bunker during the War of 1812 that still stands on their grounds.
