TimeOut: New York’s latest edition features Jersey City; “the New York areas hippest hood right across the river”. They highlighted the best places to eat, drink and experience in this incredible city we live in.
Food – As you may know, Razza Pizza was voted the best pizza in New York City in 2017. That article circulated all over Jersey City and New York City and people were flocking to Razza. Our favorite pie here is the Bufala pie with Jersey tomatoes and fresh buffalo mozzarella. Although they charge for bread and butter we highly recommend ordering some. They take a lot of pride in it! Ani Ramen was also on the list because of their delicious food, hip environment and boozy ice cream speakeasy in the back.
Drinks – Mathews Food and Drink, Cellar 335 and Hyatt House were just a few of the bars/restaurants listed on places to enjoy cocktails. Mathews is a chic, southern restaurant and bar which features a Jersey City favorite drink called 80’s glam. It’s a gin-based drink topped with edible glitter. Cellar 335 has a stunning bar that has fun tiki drinks year-round. Visit the Hyatt House for incredible views of Manhattan on their rooftop that are 100% Instagram worthy!
Experiences – While the Liberty Science Center focuses on teaching kids about science during the day, their After Dark events involve dancing, booze and biology. Perfect for anyone looking to have some fun while they learn! Monty Hall is a free-form radio station that has live shows so music lovers can enjoy a fun night together as a community. Their next performers are the Black Lips on April 17th.
