Join Mana Contemporary’s spring 2019 Open House, on Sunday April 28 from 1 to 7pm. Featuring open studios, exhibitions, performances, and after parties.
At the Open House, they’ll announce the launch of Mana Decentralized, a new collecting platform that reimagines the art market, from what it looks like to who it benefits. Guests will be able to visit the Decentralized Gallery, and browse the Decentralized Online Marketplace. Meet featured artists and discover works priced from $250 to $5,000. At 3:30 pm, you can enjoy live Jazz music by Camille Thurman and The Darrell Green Trio presented by RiverviewJazz.Org.
Founded in 2011, Mana Contemporary is one of the largest and most innovative contemporary art organizations in the United States. Through its integrated architectural design, Mana offers exceptional services, spaces, and programming for the greater creative community. Its rapidly expanding flagship location in Jersey City, originally built in the 1920s, will eventually cover more than two million square feet.
Mana values the exchange of ideas between artists and art world luminaries. Practitioners specializing in painting, sculpture, photography, dance, film, sound, and performance work alongside each other in a forward-thinking environment that fosters experimentation, collaboration, and mutual inspiration.
If you are an art enthusiast, and you haven’t been to Mana Contemporary yet, put this on your bucket list! They also have a Jersey City Drawing Club which meets every Thursday from 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM.
