Where To Get Ravioli in Jersey City on National Ravioli Day

19Mar

As we all know, March is still a chilly one here in Jersey City, but for foodies, that means one thing – comfort food! There’s no comfort food quite like ravioli, and on March 20, you can indulge in your favorite cheese, lobster or mushroom ravioli at one of the many top-notch Italian restaurants in Jersey City.

This month, celebrate National Ravioli Day with a bite of some of Jersey City’s best – all without the guilt. Plus, all of these restaurants offer takeout or delivery, so enjoy a ravioli dish in the comfort of your Beacon apartment if you prefer!

Laico’s, located at 67 Terhune Ave, Jersey City which is 13 minutes from your Beacon apartment, is a long-running, brick-lined nook offering an array of Italian cuisine, plus cocktails and wine.

Opened by the Laico family in 1972, Laico’s has been serving its tried-and-true dishes even as its menu evolves with the times. For almost 50 years, longtime loyal patrons and newfound friends and customers have not been disappointed in their choice of dining at Laico’s. The cozy, friendly atmosphere gives both a traditional feel and a present-day vibe, setting the stage to satisfy established as well as contemporary tastes.

Porto Leggero, located at 185 Hudson St, Jersey City which is 10 minutes from your Beacon apartment, is an upscale, chandelier-filled venue serving Italian fare in a high-ceilinged space with tall windows.

Fully exposed behind a two-story wall of glass, the modern interior is softened with mahogany archways, tumbled brick and richly textured upholstery. The finely appointed tables are dressed in white linen. Although waterfront restaurants are plentiful along the Hudson River, though, few have a cuisine comparable to Porto Leggero.
